During 2009 Fairhaven will be hosting 3 prestigious events;
In May the Club host the Fairhaven Trophies, an international 72 hole
scratch championship for under 18year olds. The championship carries EGU &
EWGA order of merit points, as well as World Amateur Golf Ranking points.
The Final Qualifying Round for the Ricoh Women's British Open on
Monday 27th July 2009
The Ladies Golf Union - British Girls Home International Matches
between the 4th and 6th August 2009.
Future championships at Fairhaven will include;
The annual staging of the Fairhaven Trophies;
2010 - 30th April to 2nd May
2011 - 29th April to 1st May
2012 - 4th to 6th May
The European Men's Seniors Team Championship,
between the 29th August and
4th September 2010.
The R&A have selected Fairhaven to host the 2012 R&A World Junior Open,
Monday 16th, Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th July
The week the Open Championship, is held at neighbouring
Royal Lytham & St
Annes GC.
The course is consistently maintained and
presented to the highest standard.
The
design and layout present a fair challenge
to golfers of all abilities,

considering the 'risk & reward' course
management elements
of the game in
negotiating the 118 links bunkers. Its sandy
sub-soil means
that perfect playing
